EHS kicked off its summer reading program today. Students were able to choose their favorite books from a variety of genres. All books are free and the students get to keep them. The books have a corresponding Renaissance Accelerated Reader 360® quiz. Students can read the books this summer and have a jumpstart on their AR points when school starts.

Just a reminder: No one is eligible to take semester tests early unless it is a medical reason or you are continuing education during that testing period. We had snow days scheduled on the calendar for May 28-31 when the calendar was posted at the end of last year. Therefore, these days were not recently added. They have always been there because we are required to include snow days in our calendar. The last day of school is May 31st. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the EHS Office. 10th grade students built balloon cars in Coach Benson & Coach Willis’s class. Students enjoyed designing multiple different cars, measuring their feet & speed of their cars in seconds. Students converted feet/s to mph! Aden Scribner and Josue Mejia logged the longest distances at 68 and 67 feet!

2023-2024 ESD Yearbooks are being distributed today at EES and EHS today, May 16th!! We have 20 extra copies! If you wish to purchase one of the remaining yearbooks, please email Mrs. Brittney Robinson (brittney.robinson@englandlions.net) or come by the EHS office!

It's Junior Take Over Day!!!!

EHS 8th Grade Arkansas History students enjoyed a day in downtown Little Rock. The students toured the Clinton Library and the State Capitol. Students were able to go inside the Treasury Vault and hold $100,000!

Thank you so much to the EHS PTO for providing us a nacho bar today for lunch! The Spot in England did a great job catering! It's been a great Teacher/Staff appreciation week! Thank you again!

Graduation 2024! /Graduación 2024!

Attention EES parents/guardians of students who won a free Artsonia print: If you selected to pick up your student's print, it will be available for pick up at the EES office starting today!

Semester Tests at EHS will begin on Wednesday, May 29th!

It's Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week at ESD! EHS PTO provided breakfast consisting of donuts & fruit, chalked in front of the doors & hung banners in the hallways for EHS Staff! EES PTO provided Nothing Bundt Cakes for EES Staff & a banner outside for them! We appreciate both PTO's & wish our staff a wonderful week at ESD!

Today was our seniors last official day on campus! After senior checkout they all received their cap & gowns, had their last walk through EHS halls and walked through EES with the kindergarten graduates! After the graduate walk, we held a signing ceremony in the EHS Gym for seniors to sign a poster of where they will be going after graduation! Tuesday, May 7th EHS will have the Junior & Senior High Athletic Banquets! Junior High Athletic Banquet will be at the EHS Gym at 5:00! Senior High Banquet will be at Landmark Baptist Church at 6:30!

May 6-10 is Mental Health Awareness Week! Please join ESD on Thursday, May 9th and wear green to promote mental health awareness!

Here is the AP Testing Schedule for any student grade 10-12 taking an AP Course! Please make sure your student is in attendance on these days!
